The Akron Church of God feels very strongly that children are a gift from God. The Wee Care Children's DayCare is a licensed day care operating at the church's facilities. Here is some information regarding the day care.

Hours are from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Ages are from children 8 weeks old up to fifth grade

Provides transportation to and from Akron School

Hourly, part-time or full-time basis.

Maintain child to adult ratio

Exceed state required mininum requirements

Quartly inspections performed by the state

Nutritious meals are served, with milk being served at breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.

Age appropriate activities in each classroom.

Dramatic play,
music/rhythm,
books/story-telling
arts/crafts

Bible stories

Good manners

Structured schedule supporting pre-school preparedness
